Composting Program Update

We are making some changes to the Composting Program!
The two bins that are currently located at the DPW will be relocated and replaced by a BEAR PROOF can at Town Hall in the upper parking lot by the Red Cross clothing donation bin.
DO NOT LEAVE COMPOSTING MATERIALS ON THE TOP OR NEXT TO THE BIN! Pinch the release and deposit compost inside. Make sure the latch catches after putting the lid down to ensure the bears can't break in.
There are still composting kits available in the Town Clerk's Office for $25. The kits include a countertop basket, compostable bags and a storage bucket, making composting easier.
